Heaters
for Ukraine

Together we make the difference

About the project

People in Ukraine fear the harshest winter since World War II. Because Russia has bombed power plants across the country, many Ukrainians are without power. In some cities, the mercury can drop to -20 degrees in winter.

And to think that many houses have been destroyed by the violence of war. So people are literally sitting in the bitter cold, in ruined houses without windows.

In an attempt to prevent the people of Ukraine from literally freezing to death, the well-known Dutch activist journalist and ambassador of the LifeCenter  Foundation, Sander de Kramer, together with some entrepreneurs such as David van Kaam, a few enthusiastic bus drivers, and Pastor Archill’s Ukrainian team, set up the campaign ‘Heaters for Ukraine’. We have now delivered the first batch of heaters. Hundreds of families can now get through the winter, thanks to these heaters.

One of those we can help, for example, is Julia from the town of Boucha, who lost her husband in the Russian attack. As a widow with her 7-year-old daughter Masja, she now lives in a house that has been completely destroyed and has no windows. When she received the heater, tears ran down her cheeks. "It's more than a heater. It moves me that we are not forgotten. We are not alone".

We are going to bring as many heaters as possible to Ukraine. Thanks to the efforts of our great drivers and transport companies, we can continue to deliver heaters to the most vulnerable families. Together we help them through the winter.
